Associate Professor Siven Seevanayagam is a cardiac and thoracic surgeon with consultant appointments in both departments at Austin Hospital in Melbourne. He is also the Director of the Brian F Buxton Cardiac & Thoracic Aortic Surgery Unit at Austin. He is the Deputy Chair of the ANZSCTS Cardiac Registry. As a medical IT specialist he is a member of the Clinical Informatics Council of Victoria and also the Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Austin Health.
