A/Prof Siven Seevanayagam is a senior consultant cardiac & thoracic surgeon and Director of the Brian F. Buxton Cardiac & Thoracic Aortic Surgery Unit at Austin Health. He is a member of the Court of Examiners of the College of Surgeon (RACS) and the Board of Studies – Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is well known for his expertise in complex thoracic surgical procedures and has special interest in; • Tumours involving the heart and great vessels • Extended Pulmonary Resections and complex bronchoplastic and vascular sleeve resections • Mediastinal Tumours • Airway Tumors • Airway stenting and management of aero-digestive fistulae His major research interest is in Data Analytics of large clinical datasets and predictive modelling of clinical outcomes.
