Nicholas or Nic is a first-year junior registrar working at Wellington Regional Hospital in their cardiothoracic department. He has a Bachelor of Science majoring in physiology and subsequently went on to study medicine at Otago University in Dunedin. He completed his PGY1-2 years in Wellington and enjoyed cardiothoracic surgery so much he did it twice as a house officer. In his spare time he is a keen musician and loves the outdoors.
