Dr. Doty is chief of cardiac surgery at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed general surgery and thoracic surgery residencies at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland as well as a 6-month fellowship in cardiac surgery at the Green Lane Hospital in Auckland, NZ. His clinical interests include aortic surgery, adult congenital cardiac surgery, and surgical education.
