Jarrod is a current Cardiothoracic Registrar at the Victorian Heart Hospital. Having recently completed his Master of Surgery, Jarrod's current research works have focussed on minimally invasive and rapid deployment technologies. Recently, Jarrod has been afforded opportunities to undertake research pertaining to the transportation of marginal donor hearts whilst continuing his own research into the long-term functional outcomes of post-surgical patients who have suffered from pleural space infections.
