I am currently a first-year unaccredited cardiac surgery registrar at Austin Hospital. Cardiothoracic surgery has been a vested interest of mine even before I commenced medical school, and I’ve had the opportunity to take part in various research projects during this time. Throughout this past year, I’ve come across several interesting aortic cases in our unit that I am hoping to share in the literature soon. Outside of work and research, I have a passion for music and travel, hence have mastered the art of pairing conference leave with annual leave.
