Professional Bio
Aubrey graduated from University of Melbourne in 1986. Following four years of military service he commenced surgical training. He undertook a fellowship at Mayo Clinic in 2000. He commenced as a Consultant Cardiothoracic surgeon at Monash Medical Centre in 2001. Aubrey is a pioneer of robotic surgery in Australia. He is the Past President of ANZSCTS and deputy chair of the Epworth Cardiac Institute. He is an examiner for the RACS. He has interests in valvular heart disease, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, adult congenital heart disease and surgical education.
